VetPAC is the Veterinary advising center at NC State for undergraduate students. This means we advise students interested in pre-veterinary medicine on how to be competitive for Vet School. We hold events throughout the year that allow students to meet with veterinarians and other faculty to network themselves on different opportunities. We will be speaking with your High School students on how to get started as High Schoolers with veterinary medicine in general. This means, how they can become involved as high school students with animals, no matter what their prospective profession be in the future. We encourage them that if they are not interested in becoming a Veterinarian, there are many other job opportunities for students interested in animals.

College Application Week Events
Thank you for hosting College Application Week events during October 19-October 30, 2020 at your school! We are excited to be celebrating our 16th year of providing college access to North Carolina students. Our goal for NC Countdown to College initiative is to increase the number of high school seniors who pursue postsecondary education by assisting them with the college admissions process (residency, FAFSA, and applications) and ensuring that each participating student submits at least one admissions application.
While the focus of NC Countdown to College is particularly on high school seniors, we encourage participating high schools to include activities for all students, including freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have already applied to college. The involvement of all your students in the NC Countdown to College event will add to the college-going culture at your high school.
Be sure to visit www.CFNC.org/C2C for details on NC Countdown to College and for up-to-date information about the event and available resources! Thank you in advance for your commitment to this important statewide college access event.
